A Trip to PA (11 weeks)

We made a trip up to PA to celebrate Aunt Natalie's Bridal Shower. I'm still not feeling the best-- but Jon was able to drive me up and so here we go! We met our dear friends Kat and Blair at Panera for lunch on Friday, May 16th. This was my first meal out since I've gotten sick. I was able to keep down my salad but still feel nauseous. I can't wait to feel better! Jon and I also made a trip into State College's North Building to visit mom! We talked her into a trip to Target to buy something for Natalie. We discovered that PA Targets don't carry wine!! Whoops! I ran into Miki Benner who is having a yard sale this weeked and guess what she's getting rid of... Baby Stuff! We took her stuff of her hands. We got a beautiful white crib for Cashew's nursery and some other accessories too!
Satuday we headed up to Harvest Fields for Natalie's shower. It was so beautiful! I'm so excited for Evan and Natalie and hoping I start feeling better soon. I actually was able to eat some of the food too-- and the tea, I discovered quenched my thirst and tasted good too! Jon and I had to head back to VA Saturday night because we had the Penecost Festival the following morning. We decided before we left that we should get a Buffalo Chicken Sub from Brothers (big no no!!) No buffalo for Cashew from here on out!

Still Sick :(

So today is my cousins Bridal Shower (Karie's) and I'm at home lying in bed. I'm so bummed I have to miss so many fun events, but I guess my main job is to stay healthy and hydrated and not overdo it. I've been in bed now for over month and I'm bored out of my mind. I watch a lot of the Baby Story and Bringing Home Baby-- and for extra pleasure: Take Home Chef! That is-- when I'm not sleeping which seems to occupy a lot of my time.

Karie-- I hope you have an amazing shower. I wish I could be there to celebrate the upcoming wedding with you! Hope you enjoyed the favors and stuff-- I know your mom and sisters did a great job covering for me!!
