"bye bye puppy's" your little voice calls out as you say good-bye to the puppies next door from Kathryn and Blair's home. I wasn't there to hear you speak your first real sentence but I can only imagine how sweet it sounded. I will look forward to hearing your second sentence, whenever that may be. (April 30th).April 30th was a day I probably won't remember all the details but will remember how one day, I pulled you up into bed with me and started tickling you, only to discover you not only popped out a molar but it's almost 100% in place!!!!!! So sorry I missed it come in, but so thankful that you didn't put up a huge fuss as it came in. Though now, looking back, that was probably why you didn't sleep as peacefully a few weeks/months back!! Whoops! You did knawl on your finger like crazy... and don't get me wrong, I did know you had a tooth coming in, I was just surprised I didn't notice it until it was already mostly in!! Another special update is ... another molar is in!! And you also popped another bottom tooth. :) !!! What a mouth full of teeth you have now!
This month you've definitely hit a growth spurt!! I cannot wait to measure you and see how much weight you've gained. There were days all it seemed like you did was eat!! :) Yummy, healthy, good foods... but still... a ton!! :) You LOVE food. I know I've written this before, but you really aren't picky (thank you!) even if you don't love a food, you try at least a few bites and then move on to something you find more appealing, but I can't say there is anything I feed you you just do not like. Some new favorites: BLUEBERRIES!! I found out a lot over the weekend, daddy has been offering you whole blueberries (and you do just fine!!) guess mommy doesn't need to cut them into fours any longer. :) Jelly Sandwiches (cut if fours) Pineapple, Pasta, Multi-Grain Cheerios... and so much more. Update: You have tried Peanut Butter- (by accident... twice!) and you love it!! Whoops to mommy- but since the outcome was all positive... yay for us!
Love you Ruthie.
Ruthie Mackenzie- I'm having so much fun with you. You bring so much joy to all who are around you. You have begun to cry when I say "good-bye" and although it rips my heart out, it's good for us to have time away from each other. It makes me coming back soooo much more fun. Continue to sing your heart out sweet girl. Your voice is beautiful and it fills our hearts with so much happiness when you sing out. Love you sweet girl!
Love, Mommy & Daddese
