Building A Legacy

2nd Trimester-- Karie's Wedding

17 Weeks-- Headed up to PA for Karie and Stephen's Wedding. June has been one crazy month! The dress I picked out for Karie's Wedding is a maternity style dress and although I was still barely showing, if you got the angle just right, I looked to be about 8 months along! :) Another hot summer day-- but an absolutely beautiful one.

Jon and I had to head home shortly after Karie's Wedding but not before grabbing some grub with Grandpa Marshall, Marmee, Uncle Epic, and Aunt Pinky! On our way home we got a call from Uncle Andrew, who was also on his way home from a wedding in NJ. He decided to stay with us- so we got some Uncle Andrew time Sunday morning and afternoon. We went out to brunch at Blue Ridge Grill-- and it was here that I ate my first weird meal! :) I ordered Banana and Strawberry Pancakes and Lobster Bisque. Yum!!

14 Weeks-- Let the Weddings Begin!!!

June 7th- Uncle Evan & Aunt Natalie's Wedding! For their special day, I went unplugged from the Zofran pump, but after a night full of dancing, I had to plug back in. Daddy left the wedding to head back home for church but I stayed in town to get up Sunday morning and watch Uncle Evan and Aunt Natalie open gifts and then head to Lane and Josh Grosser's Wedding. Heat Week Began a few days before Evan and Natalie's Wedding-- and was going strong!! I threatened your Grandpa Marshall and Marmee to get me in airconditioning or I was heading home!
Daddy-- drove back to PA Sunday night to wake up and spend my 27th Birthday with me! He got me the cutest little outfit for you! I can't wait to put it on you! We went to Brody's Diner for lunch (one of my favorite spots to eat in PA) and then we had dinner with the family. Daddy, again, headed home to VA early Tuesday morning and I stayed in PA to help with Uncle Ethan (aka Uncle Bags) and Aunt Ligia's wedding!
June 14th- Another Marshall Wedding! Uncle Ethan & Aunt Ligia's Wedding. Another beautiful day. I went to unplug again for this wedding when I realized that my pump had already shut itself off and I had been free since Wednesday. With that, Jon and I made the decision to step away from the Zofran pump and start living medicine free from here on out!
