Building A Legacy

Building A Legacy

A Flutter... A Kick!

July 3rd-- Today I felt you move. It was just a flutter but, it was the most amazing feeling ever. Of course, I told daddy to put his hand on my belly-- but I was the only one to feel you move for the first time.

July 28th- Uncle Epics Birthday-- Today I was packing for vacation to New Bern, North Carolina where Grandma Stube and Opa live. As I was folding laundry, all of a sudden... you moved! Not only did I feel you, I watched in amazement as my stomach moved in and out several times. I watched you for 15 minutes moving all around!

You are such a precious miracle!

July 4th-- Fireworks!!!

Here is a side view of my growing belly! Taken 7/15/08

We celebrated the Fourth of July in DC with Scott and Ryan Slawson. We ate over at their place and played some games as it poured down rain all day! By evening, we decided to ride into DC and catch the DC Fireworks! It was no 4th Fest Fireworks (in State College, PA) but they were beautiful non the less.

The Results Are In... Little Cashew Is A...

The Proud Parents-- moments before the Ultra Sound. Getting ready to hop in the car with an extra full bladder.

Special Thanks: Dawn Hill-- for the lovely T-Shirts!

Appt- July 14th at 1:45 pm
Following the Ultra Sound was our 20 Week Appt where we got to hear the beautiful heartbeat too!

Here Is Our Precious Little Cashew:

Well-- after 25 minutes of trying to figure out if you
were a Girl or a Boy-- we left not knowing much more then when we came in. That's Right! Little Cashew was very modest and kept his/her legs tucked and crossed the entire time. We did get to see it suck it thumb which was amazing. I cried the entire time as we found out that our beautiful child was healthy and had all its fingers and toes. What a precious miracle. It was just a glimpse... a picture... but I knew then that I loved this child more than anything.

Listen: Here is the heart beat of a healthy Baby! <3
