Building A Legacy

10 Months- Marshall James

10 Months
Marshall James

I'm obsessed with this this face. He is just the happiest little dude. I say that with each post- so it must be true! Marshall James loves to get into anything and everything but is starting to understand the word "no" and listens when I use it. Well- most of the time-- :) Brayden and Ruthie love to laugh and then he thinks it's a game and continues on (normally up the stairs-- which he's mastered) Marshall has eliminated our need for the vacuum in the kitchen area. If there is food on the floor he'll clean it up before you can get the vacuum out of the closet and plug it in :) He takes his food very seriously-- even if it's two or three days old! Yuck!!

Marshall now has 5 teeth (two on the bottom, three on the top) and we can officially say he has his daddy's lips!! Nice and plump! I just love Marshall's smile. It's contagious. And it's rare not to see him smiling. Really- the little man doesn't cry unless he's waking up and hungry- again, he takes his food very seriously! He doesn't want to have to wait.

His vocab is taking off just like Ruthie and Brayden. It's amazing to see the similarities in my children. I have three bold-headed, very talkative children. Like the first two, Marshall loves to chat and does so all the time. He'll go as far as saying "all done momma" "hi dada" just to show off a bit! He sings and can sing in tune at times. And the bold-headedness... yes... geez!! If he wants something- he won't quit until he gets it. Kleenex, diapers, phones-- to list a few.

Marshall James at 10 Months--
*eating 100% table food
*eating 4-5 7 oz bottles
*sleeping 12 + hours a night plus 2-3 naps a day
*crawling and climbing
*standing and starting to let go!
*singing, dancing, talking

Ruthie, Brayden, and mommy & daddy love you to pieces Marshall James. We're always talking about how gentle your brother and sister are with you. They have yet to raise their voices at you and be annoyed with you. They just love your presence. Constantly talking to you and patting you. I can't believe in two short months we'll be celebrating a year of your life!! Ah!!! Love you baby boy!!

He really IS the happiest baby! And I never cease to be astounded at how well he listens to you! He will crawl away and then go back and try again a little while later, but the minute you tell him "no" he stops! What a sweetheart!
