Building A Legacy

6 Months

6 Months
Soooooooo BIG

Before leaving for our vacation to New Bern, NC, I took Brayden in for his 6 months doctor appointment. I wasn't too shocked to see that he was 13 lbs 6.1 oz (2%) and 2'1" (11%). Right above the teal curve he's clung to from 6 weeks old. I talked to the doctor about some of my concerns (not using his feet to hold himself up being one of the major ones) and the doctor put my mind at ease. Besides his tininess, he is excelling in all other areas. And let me just state for the record, you're not going to meet a happier baby.

At the end of his doctors appointment, he had two shots in his poor little legs. I was amazed as he cried, stopped, and then learned to fake cry to get my attention again. It was so sweet and I was happy to pick him back up and cuddle him some more.
6 Months- I eat chicken (yum!) I eat apples (yum!!!) I eat bananas (hmmm?) and Green Beans (yum!)
I eat all my food with some oatmeal which I love. I may be having a reaction to chicken, so I'm going to take it easy on that for a while and then reintroduce it again. (I got a bad rash!)
I drink 6 oz of formula every time I wake up which equals about 5-6 bottles a day. (I am growing!)
I am always aware of where mommy is and if someone else is holding me and mommy walks into the room, I fuss to get her attention (it works like a charm!) I am rolling over from front to back and back to front with ease. Loving time on the blanket to explore and play with toys (if I'm lucky enough to have toys, Ruthie loves the toys too!) I am almost sitting on my own- I am very very strong!
