Gender Reveal Party

Gender Reveal Party....

 This is my adorable, prettiest pregnant woman I have ever seen, best friend Kathryn Drake. Kathryn is 20 weeks pregnant, isn't she beautiful!!! Today was her 20 week Ultrasound appointment where she got to see the beautiful pouty lips of her baby growing inside of her and find out whether she was having a boy or a girl. Well, Kathryn DID NOT find out today whether she was having a boy or a girl- she had the technician write on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. Kathryn and Blair then transported the envelope to my house, handed it over to me (via my front porch since I wasn't home)- and walked away...

I am sitting here overwhelmed with the news. I am so very excited for my dear friend and her family. What a privilege and blessing it is to hold an envelope in my hands and be the only one who knows (minus the technician) if Kathryn is carrying a little boy or a little girl! I cannot wait for the Reveal Party! It's going to be one of the most special evenings... I cannot wait to watch Kathryn and Blairs reaction to the news! They are going to be soooo surprised!

So we are days away from the Reveal- the house is coming together nicely. I have been having fun getting the house decorated for the big Reveal. I started getting ideas from other blogs and youtube videos and then have been putting on my own unique finishing touches. A few things I've been working on-

Kathryn & Blair- thank you so much for the opportunity to throw you this fun party! I had a great time thinking and working on everything. I cannot believe that the moment has passed and we are all celebrating the upcoming arrival of your little boy! I cannot wait to meet your little guy!! Congrats!! I hope today you felt incredibly blessed. I love you so much!!! It's A Boy!!!
