Ruthie Is Here ...

Ruthie Mackenzie Stube

Born on December 4, 2008 at 9:59 pm. She weighed 9 lbs .9 oz and was 20 inches long!

We welcomed Ruthie along with my parents (Grandpa and Marmee Marshall) and Jon's brother (Uncle Andrew). We celebrated after I was out of recovery from my c-section and took a few pictures before everyone went back to our home to get some much needed sleep and leave Jon and I to get to know Ruthie and also try and get some sleep. I'll never forget looking at Jon with this "now what?" expression when we realized we were left all alone with this beautiful baby with not a clue what to do next! Jonathan and I didn't sleep much that night. I couldn't seem to close my eyes even though I was completely exhausted, because all I could do is stare at our baby girl. It was such a long pregnancy and I couldn't believe she was finally here!
